The Dragino DDS75-NB is a cutting-edge NB-IoT Distance Detection Sensor tailored for Internet of Things (IoT) solutions. Utilizing advanced ultrasonic sensing technology, it accurately measures distances ranging from 280mm to 7500mm between the sensor and flat objects. The device incorporates internal temperature compensation to enhance data reliability across diverse environmental conditions.
Designed for versatility, the DDS75-NB is suitable for a wide array of applications, including horizontal distance measurement, liquid level monitoring, parking management systems, object proximity and presence detection, intelligent trash can management, robot obstacle avoidance, automatic control systems, and sewer or bottom water level monitoring. Its robust IP66-rated waterproof enclosure ensures durability in various environments.
The sensor supports multiple uplink methods, such as MQTT, MQTTs, UDP, and TCP, catering to different application requirements and facilitating integration with various IoT servers. Equipped with Bluetooth v5.1, the DDS75-NB allows for remote configuration and over-the-air (OTA) firmware updates, simplifying deployment and maintenance processes.
Powered by an 8500mAh Li-SOCI2 battery, the DDS75-NB is engineered for long-term use, offering operational longevity of up to several years. The device also features a nano SIM card slot compatible with NB-IoT SIM cards, providing flexibility in connectivity options.
